Of the 36 course hours required to receive the Master of Public Service (MPS) degree, 14 credit hours are fulfilled with core curriculum classes, with an additional 2 hour “Career Opportunities in Public Service Seminar,” 11 credit hours—the Practicum, the International Public Service Project (IPSP) and the Capstone—are completed in the field, and 9 credit hours are elective courses.
