“Gee’s Bend,” a panel discussion with the Arkansas Repertory Theatre

Members of the cast and crew of the Arkansas Repertory Theatre’s production of “Gee’s Bend” will discuss performing the play, which is based on the true story of a remarkable women’s sewing circle in Gee’s Bend, Ala. The play follows the life of Sadie Pettway and the women in her sewing circle as they turn to quilting to provide comfort and creative expression to their lives. What begins as a labor of love soon turns into a spiritual and artistic awakening.
