Field service promotes the Clinton School vision by emphasizing the “practice” of public service by placing students in challenging environments in which they work with community leaders to help build healthy, engaged, and vibrant communities, both in Arkansas and around the world.
The Master of Public Service (MPS) degree program requires students to complete three courses where they engage in field projects: Practicum, International Public Service Project (IPSP), and Capstone.
To date, students have completed 800 field service projects domestically and internationally, committing over 260,000 hours to public service organizations and agencies.
The Office of Community Engagement is currently accepting proposals from project partners. If you are interested in becoming a field service partner, learn more by exploring the options below.
