Clinton School graduate Octave Ellis (’07) has received recognition for his work as a human resources specialist for the Superior Court System of the District of Columbia.
Ellis helped lead an effort to encourage file clerks and court aides to take a standardized test needed for advancement in the court system. In a memorandum from his supervisor on the project, Ellis was praised for his leadership and effectiveness. Follow the link to view the letter: Ellis memo
Ellis credits his Clinton School experience for helping him achieve his full potential as a public servant.
“It has been the education at the Clinton School that has helped me to better recognize these opportunities and to channel the river of fortune to the best of my ability,” Ellis said in an emal.
