Posted by BEN BEAUMONT – Incoming Clinton School student, UALR Bowen Law School student and Little Rock Film Festival director Jack Lofton landed on the cover of this week’s SYNC Magazine as Central Arkansas gears up its third film festival.
Lofton, a native of Hughes, Ark., and graduate of Lyon College, tells of his passion for film – he was the stand-in for Joaqiun Pheonix during the filming of “Walk the Line” – and his life in Los Angeles trying to make it in the industry after college.
After deciding to return home to pursue law and public service, Lofton channels his love of film into his work directing the film festival which will run 75 films May 13-17 in Little Rock.
Three films, including Phil Donahue’s Iraq War documentary “Body of War” will be shown at the Clinton School. CLICK HERE for the article.
