A combination of four ornamental fall pumpkins and squash sit out front of Sturgis Hall as part of a new student effort to boost spirits around the Clinton School.
Clinton School student Heath Carelock (’12) contacted Whole Foods Market store team leader Jason Eldridge last week and the store was pleased to donate the fall display to the school.
The idea was part of the efforts of the new Morale Committee of the Clinton School student Government. The committee is chaired by Dylan Perry (’13).
“Whole Foods has provided a festive autumnal cheer to brighten students’ days,” Perry said.
Carelock believes the Whole Foods Market partnership offers a promising relationship for the Clinton School student body.
“Public-private partnerships are increasingly important these days, and Whole Foods would be a great resource in our network,” Carelock said. “A healthy life and an informed diet are matters public servants will always be concerned about.”
The mission of the new morale committee states:
The Morale Committee of the Clinton School Student Government aims to lift the spirits of Clinton School students during the school day. By interjecting random and unexpected moments of happiness or silliness into student’s days or weeks, the committee hopes to break up and alleviate the monotony or arduourness inflicted on the public service graduate student.
