The Clinton School has a number of connections with Uganda, which today is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its independence from Britain.
Uganda is the home country of Clinton School student Angela Bukenya, as well as graduates Tezira Jamwa and Beatrice Biira. Additionally, 10 Clinton Schools students have completed their International Public Service Projects in Uganda.
To honor this connection and celebrate Uganda’s independence, a sign is displayed today in the lobby of Sturgis Hall along with the Ugandan flag.
