The Clinton School of Public Service is pleased to announce two key appointments that will strengthen its student recruitment and admissions operations. Rachel Villafane (’20) has been promoted to Director of Admissions, while Aaron Whitt joins the institution as the new Student Recruitment Manager.
Villafane, a Clinton School graduate who previously served as Student Recruitment Manager, steps into her new role, bringing valuable institutional knowledge and a proven track record of success in student recruitment. As Director of Admissions, she will oversee all aspects of the admissions process and lead strategic initiatives to enhance the school’s enrollment efforts.
“This new role presents an exciting opportunity to build upon our strong foundation and expand our reach to prospective students who are passionate about public service leadership,” says Villafane. “Having worked directly with prospective students in recruitment, and as a former Clinton School student, I understand their aspirations and challenges.”
Aaron Whitt joins the Clinton School as Student Recruitment Manager, bringing six years of experience in education and a passionate commitment to student success. Prior to this appointment, Whitt served as a U.S. History teacher, where he worked with students from diverse backgrounds and developed a deep understanding of educational leadership and student development.
“The Clinton School’s mission to develop leaders in public service really spoke to me,” Whitt says. “Having spent years working directly with students, I’ve seen firsthand how important strong leadership and community engagement are.” In his role, Whitt will oversee the school’s recruitment initiatives, connect with prospective students, and guide them through the admissions process.
Together, Villafane and Whitt form a dynamic team that will strengthen the Clinton School’s ability to attract and enroll outstanding candidates to its Master of Public Service and Clinton School Online programs.
What a great fit, with both appointments!
