Clinton School grad Spirit Trickey (’10) was nominated for an award for developing a new program to help connect young people to the National Park Service.
The project served as Trickey’s final Capstone project at the Clinton School.
A Little Rock Central High School Park Ranger, Trickey was one of six rangers nominated for the 2010 Midwest Region Freeman Tilden Award.
Trickey was recognized for her efforts to developed a Youth Leadership Academy for young leaders who are committed to learning about civil and human rights and sharing those lessons with park visitors.
