Jesse Ventura Discusses Conspiracies

Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura promised to make some shocking statements at the start of his Thursday speech at the Clinton School. From the legalization of drugs to opening American borders to theories about government cover-ups, Ventura didn’t disappoint the more than 400 people who turned out for his speech.

The ex-wrestler turned actor, turned politician discussed his many conspiracy theories that are chronicled in his new book, “American Conspiracies: Lies, Lies and More Dirty Lies the Government Tells Us,” in which he claims the mainstream press has refused to consider alternate possibilities and ask tough questions about events like the assassinations of Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr.

Introduced by Clinton School student Jonathan Dunkley (’10), Ventura spoke for an hour before signing copies of his book for guests.
