Posted by BEN BEAUMONT – America’s foremost Abraham Lincoln historian Harold Holzer visited the Clinton Presidential Center and Clinton School to participate in the Frank and Kula Kumpuris last year. Holzer and actor Sam Waterston presented “Lincoln Seen and Heard,” a production featuring Lincoln images set to some of his most famous speeches.
The New York Times has a chat with Holzer, who is also author of a number of Lincoln books, about a new exhibit by the New York Historical Society entitled, “Lincoln in New York.” Holzer, the official historian for the exhibit, discusses Lincoln’s important moments in New York, including the well-known Cooper Union Speech.
