Mental Floss

Posted by BEN BEAUMONT – Will Pearson, the cofounder of mental floss, a popular and humorous trivia magazine, spoke Wednesday at the Clinton School about his bi-monthly publication that bills itself, “the quirky magazine that teaches you everything you should have learned in school but didn’t.”

Introduced by Clinton School admissions director Alex Thomas, Pearson discussed the concept of merging education with entertainment that has made his product so successful. CLICK HERE to watch Pearson’s lecture online.

Launched by Pearson and co-founder Mangesh Hattikudur from a Duke University dorm room in 2001, mental_floss has received rave reviews and was recently named by The Chicago Tribune as one of its “50 Favorite Magazines.”
