Recent graduate Patrick McBride (’19) has joined Winrock International as a Senior Program Associate for Agriculture and Volunteer Programs. McBride recently completed an internship with Winrock International that started in January 2019.
“I am excited to remain with the team I have been working with throughout my internship,” McBride said. “It is filled with exceptionally bright and hardworking people from the top down.”
In his new role, McBride will support several AVP programs including USAID Farmer-to-Farmer Program, USAID Value Chains for Rural Development Program, and business development.
Based in Little Rock, Winrock International is a recognized leader in U.S. and international development, providing solutions to some of the world’s most complex social, agricultural and environmental challenges. The nonprofit implements a portfolio of more than 150 agriculture, environment, and social development projects in over 40 countries.
In addition to his Master of Public Service, McBride graduated from Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Va., with an interdisciplinary degree in psychology, sociology, and leadership studies.
