“Open House to the World”, Little Rock Sister Cities Commission and Foundation
Monday, April 21, 2008 at 5:30 p.m. (Sturgis Hall)
– A reception to raise awareness of the Little Rock Sister Cities. One of the goals of the Sister Cities Commission and Foundation is to promote mutual cross-cultural understanding and exchanges. Little Rock’s Sister Cities are Ragusa, Sicily, Italy, Hanam City, South Korea, Changchun, People’s Republic of China, Pachuca, Mexico, and Kaohsiung, Republic of China (Taiwan).

– Dedicated to promoting mutual respect, cooperation and civility, The Interfaith Alliance strives to promote religion as a positive and healing force in the life of the nation. Welton Gaddy is also the host of “State of Belief,” a weekly radio show by The Interfaith Alliance that is carried on AirAmerica.

Joe Grieboski, President of the Institute on Religion and Public Policy
Thursday, April 24, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. (Sturgis Hall)
– Since its founding in 1999, Joe Grieboski has transformed the Institute on Religion and Public Policy into a well-respected global authority on the role of religious freedom in society and politics, culminating 2007 and 2008 nominations for the Nobel Peace Prize.
