Allie Rouse (‘14) has been named the Director of Planned Giving for Arkansas Community Foundation.
Arkansas Community Foundation, a nonprofit in Little Rock, Ark., offers tools to help Arkansans protect, grow, and direct their charitable dollars. Since 1976, the organization has provided more than $310 million in grants and partnered with thousands of Arkansans to help them improve the state’s neighborhoods and towns.
A native of Piggott, Ark., Rouse most recently served as the Deputy Chief of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs at the Arkansas Department of Human Services (DHS). She previously served as Deputy Human Resources Chief and Chief of Staff at DHS. Before joining DHS, Rouse was a policy advisor at the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality, deputy prosecuting attorney for Pulaski and Perry counties, and judicial law clerk to the Sixth Judicial Circuit, Third Division.
As a Clinton School student, Rouse completed her Capstone project with the Arkansas Nonprofit Alliance. She worked with World Disaster Management Community College to create a framework for pedagogy proficiency as part of her International Public Service Project.
In addition to her Master of Public Service, she earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Bowen School of Law. She graduated from Arkansas State University with a degree in English.
