Clinton School student Anatoliy Shatkovskyy (’12), a native of Cherkasy, Ukraine, is traveling to his home country this week with Heifer International CEO Pierre Ferrari to serve as an interpreter.
Shatkovskyy will join Ferrari and other Heifer officials at meetings with government officials and press events promoting Heifer’s work in the country.
They will attend an event to open a new cooperative learning farm and hold a national press conference about Heifer’s work at the Ministry of Agrarian policy and Food of Ukraine in Kyiv.
Heifer International, which is based in Little Rock, is a worldwide nonprofit dedicated to ending hunger and poverty.
