– Thomas will give a lecture titled, “Bridges to the 21st Century: Calatrava Designs for Dallas,” about the city’s efforts to develop the 20-mile Trinity River corridor to better serve the public. A special feature of the redeveloped corridor is an iconic cable-stayed bridge designed by the internationally acclaimed architect Santiago Calatrava.

– A visiting fellow at the Clinton School, Singhal will discuss his book about ways to improve health care through “positive deviance,” an approach to social change that enables communities and organizations to discover the wisdom they already have and act on it.

“Exiles in Eden,” author Paul Reyes

– While working with his father’s small company that enters and empties foreclosed homes in Florida, Reyes wrote “Exiles in Eden,” a personal portrayal of his own family and the people and communities affected by the foreclosure crisis.
