Clinton School visiting fellow Dr. Arvind Singhal will give a lecture today in the Clinton School Speaker Series about his work to improve health care through “positive deviance,” an approach to social change he teaches here at the Clinton School. Here’s info on his lecture:
A visiting fellow at the Clinton School, Dr. Arvind Singhal will discuss his book, “Inviting Everyone: Healing Healthcare Through Positive Deviance,” about improving health care through a method that enables communities and organizations to discover the wisdom they already have and act on it.
Singhal, an endowed professor of communication and director of research and outreach for the Sam Donaldson Center for Communication Studies at the University of Texas at El Paso, is teaching Dynamics of Social Change, a required course at the Clinton School dealing with the elements of social change in a democratic society.
