Our Impact in Action
Partner: Tempus Realty Partners
Project Type: Multi-Year Program Evaluation
The Challenge: While child savings accounts are a known tool for economic mobility, Tempus Realty Partners needed a rigorous, third-party evaluation to determine the effectiveness of their specific GROW model.
The Solution: The Impact Center launched a three-year study to provide an objective, data-driven analysis of the GROW program. The research team is tracking educational outcomes, assessing financial literacy through interviews and surveys, and calculating the social return on investment.
The Impact: The ongoing evaluation is creating a scalable blueprint for the GROW model, validating investment strategies, and providing actionable data to ensure the program effectively removes barriers to post-secondary education and generational wealth.
“Evaluation isn’t just about measuring success. It’s about deepening our understanding of what works for Arkansas students and teachers. Through our partnership with the Clinton School, GROW is turning data into direction and ensuring this model continues to strengthen every child’s path toward generational wealth.”
— Clay Ramey, Partner and VP of Capital Markets, Tempus Realty Partners
Partner: Bridge2Rwanda
Project Type: Multi-Year International Program Evaluation & Capacity Building
The Challenge: Bridge2Rwanda (B2R) developed an innovative “Foundations for Farming” model to teach conservation agriculture but needed a rigorous way to measure its success and determine if their techniques were leading to healthier soil, higher crop yields, and increased income for farmers.
The Solution: The Impact Center partnered with B2R on a comprehensive evaluation combining social science with technical soil analysis. This included capacity building, where Dr. Al Bavon trained 100 B2R Fellows in research methods, and mixed-methods research using surveys and focus groups to measure farmer well-being and community dynamics.
The Impact: By establishing a rigorous data-collection framework, the Impact Center is helping B2R transform their efforts into a validated, scalable model. The partnership provides objective proof of their theory of change and has left a lasting legacy of professional evaluation skills within the Rwandan workforce.
