In a story about a rise in new types of smokeless tobacco, 60 Minutes showed a clip Sunday of Reynolds American CEO Susan Ivey’s 2008 Clinton School lecture. In her speech, titled “Beyond Cigarettes,” Ivey discussed the tobacco industry’s efforts to create new products that offer smaller health risks than cigarettes.
