Clinton School students enjoyed an informal session last week with Dr. Dan Rahn, the new chancellor of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS).
The former president of the Medical College of Georgia, Rahn discussed his background as a doctor and administrator, as well as aspects of health policy at both the state and national levels. Rahn touched on the challenges facing policymakers in the debate on national health reform.
Part of the University of Arkansas System, the Clinton School has a unique relationship with UAMS. The two institutions are partners in several areas, including the current Master of Public Service/Master of Public Health degree program.
