Patrick Newton is the Director of Marketing and Communications at the Clinton School of Public Service, where he oversees the school’s public-facing communications and marketing efforts, guiding brand strategy, media relations, advertising, digital platforms, and signature events.
Since joining the Clinton School, Newton has led major digital and brand transformations, including a comprehensive website overhaul that increased traffic by more than 700 percent and the school’s first-ever digital marketing campaign. He has managed multi-agency campaigns, spearheaded high-profile public events and distinguished lectures, and helped launch innovative initiatives such as the Clinton School Impact Minute in partnership with Little Rock Public Radio.
Prior to joining the Clinton School, Newton spent seven years in athletic communications at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, eventually serving as the Assistant Athletics Director for Communications. During his tenure, he led a comprehensive departmental rebranding and a nationally-recognized season ticket campaign. His earlier professional experience includes media relations roles at Cal State Northridge and video production work in California.
With a background defined by high-stakes communications and large-scale project management, Newton focuses on elevating the school’s national presence as a leader in public service education. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Kentucky and a master’s degree in sports administration from Eastern Kentucky University.
