Steven Person has served as the Director of Technology for the Clinton School of Public Service since 2015. A transformational leader in the school’s infrastructure, Person is credited with modernizing all aspects of the school’s technology operations, including the implementation of fiber optic internet access, enhancing laptop performance and mobility, and significantly improving classroom accessibility for students and faculty.
Person is a highly decorated civic leader in Central Arkansas. He was selected as a member of Leadership Arkansas Class XIX (2024-25), a prestigious program of the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce. He also served as the class speaker and president of Leadership Greater Little Rock Class XXXVIII. His commitment to community impact earned him a spot on Little Rock Soirée magazine’s 2023 “Men on a Mission” list, recognizing individuals changing the landscape of business and life in Central Arkansas.
His dedication to public service extends to several local governance and advocacy roles. Person represents District 5 on the Pulaski County Quorum Court and serves as a Commissioner for the Little Rock Planning Commission. Additionally, he holds leadership positions as the Parliamentarian for the Arkansas Democratic Black Caucus and the Political Chair for the Little Rock Branch of the NAACP. He also serves on the Board of Directors for AR Kids Read, reflecting his commitment to literacy and educational success in the region.
