Posted by PATRICK KENNEDY – Last semester, the Clinton School hosted 109 year-old Ruth Lincoln (believed to be the oldest living Arkansan) as a guest lecturer in our Distinguished Speaker Program. Dean Skip Rutherford asked Lincoln questions about her experiences during WWI and WWII, the Great Depression and now the “War on Terrorism.” Lincoln was by far one of the most popular speakers at the school.
To even things out, the Clinton School will host 12-year-old Noah McCullough later this spring. If you’ve watched David Letterman, Jay Leno or Oprah recently, you’ve seen the precocious McCullough speak about his nomination for U.S. President in the year 2032.
McCullough, while only a sixth grader, has committed to preparing himself to be a U.S. President. His dream is to be the Republican Party nominee in 2032. During the 2004 Democratic National Convention, on a live television broadcast with Jay Leno, he beat Howard Dean, Tim Russert, Larry King and Al Sharpton in presidential trivia challenges. Now the young expert and Republican hopeful for President has published his first book, The Essential Book of Presidential Trivia with Random House Publishing, and is preparing to write another one very soon.
We will be releasing more information about Noah in the near future. . .
