Posted by student JAMES MITCHELL- Perhaps the protester at the Huck and Chuck rally was unaware that All-American badass Chuck Norris was just a few feet away singing the praises of Mike Huckabee. Norris felt no qualms about Huckabee’s record, telling the crowd of well over 400 people that “Mike Huckabee is the conservative that can take us in the right direction for the future.“
Norris informed the crowd that he was not there to tell them to vote for Huckabee, but rather to ask them “just to check him out.” Norris felt confident that if the Iowans gathered in West Des Moines would take a hard look at Huckabee, they would come away supporting the former governor.
Norris closed his speech by telling the crowd “Mike Huckabee has a mission. Mike is my choice.”
As for the protester, I would try to avoid the speeches with Chuck Norris next time- rumor has it that the chief export of Chuck Norris is pain.
