Alumni Profiles: Marquita Little

This week we begin a summer series of alumni profiles on the Clinton School Blog. We’ve caught up with several former Clinton School students, and it’s been amazing to see the great work they are doing across the world. Here’s the first installment:

Marquita Little (’09) is a senior policy analyst at the Arkansas Department of Human Services where she is responsible for coordinating activities across divisions and organizations around policy initiatives as well as looking for ways to improve existing policies and programs.

She has worked on initiatives to reform Arkansas’s health care system and has helped launch efforts to improve behavioral health systems and support for children throughout the state.

Little completed her final Clinton School Capstone project with the Department of Human Services and credits that experience with helping her land a full-time job in state government.

“The Clinton School provided me with the opportunity to express my personal passion for service through my vocation and allowed me to transition my direct service experience into a career path in programs and policy,” Little says.
