The University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service has canceled all graduation events, including its scheduled commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 3, in an effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
Students scheduled to graduate in May 2020 will have the option to walk as part of the Clinton School’s commencement ceremony in May 2021.
The school will create a video package celebrating the school’s graduates that they will receive by email on Sunday, May 3, and can be shared with friends and family.
The Clinton School of Public Service is joining all other institutions in the University of Arkansas System in collectively canceling or postponing commencement events, as voted on by the Board of Trustees.
The Clinton School recently moved all spring semester classes online, canceled all spring public events, and stopped all international travel through at least August 31 to mitigate the spread of the virus.
