As we close in on the end of another year in the Clinton School Speaker Series, we’d like to thank everyone who participated in the series either in person or online. Since we began the lectures seven years ago, we’ve hosted more than 650 programs that have been attended by over 118,000 people and viewed online more than 88,000 times.
This year alone, we hosted more than 100 lectures featuring key national and international figures such as Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Attorney General Eric Holder, former Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf, retired Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens and former EPA administrator Christine Todd Whitman.
We also looked at public service through the lens of history and popular culture with lectures from Academy Award-winning actor Geena Davis, the original Star Trek’s George Takei, Southern food writer John T. Edge, and civil rights icons Ruby Bridges and Minnijean Brown Trickey.
With your financial support we will continue this tradition of excellence. Click here to donate online or send your check to the Clinton School public programs director Nikolai DiPippa at 1200 President Clinton Avenue, Little Rock, Arkansas 72201. Checks should be made payable to the University of Arkansas Foundation/Clinton School.
Thank you for helping make the Clinton School Speakers Series very special. We hope you will make a generous donation and continue to enjoy our programs during the 2012-2013 school year.
