Clinton School Grad Supports JCA

The Clinton School and Just Communities of Arkansas JCA, a nonprofit that promotes community diversity and inclusiveness, have partnered on several projects.

Clinton School students and faculty have worked closely with JCA on community conversations about important issues and have participated in the annual JCA Walk for CommUNITY. Recently, JCA quoted Clinton School graduate Sophia Said about why she supports the organization’s work. Below is some of what she had to say. Click here to view her entire quote.

“As a Muslim and a mother of two teenagers, I am deeply aware of anti-Muslim attitudes and their real-life consequences for Muslim youth in middle and high schools. JCA’s programs are challenging those stereotypes and fighting bigotry to help create understanding and respect for all. I believe in JCA’s work because I believe in a strong, unified, and pluralistic America.”
