As part of her final Capstone project at the Clinton School of Public Service, Lindsey Clark partnered with the Arkansas Center for Health Improvement to support the launch of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Center to Prevent Childhood Obesity.
Clark, a 2008 graduate of the Clinton School, worked with public health experts to identify key priorities, shape external outreach campaigns, and develop strategic policy recommendations aimed at helping kids lead healthier lives.
Clark’s work helped ACHI expand awareness of childhood obesity and advocate for better nutrition and physical activity programs in schools and communities across the state.
By bringing together policymakers, educators, and health leaders, Clark helped lay the groundwork for lasting improvements in children’s health.
Upon her graduation from the Clinton School, Clark was hired as a research assistant with ACHI and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Center, working on both research and policy formulation regarding childhood obesity.
The Clinton School Impact Minute is a recurring segment with Little Rock Public Radio, highlighting the Clinton School’s field service impact.
Since 2004, Clinton School students have completed nearly 700 field service projects with more than 300 organizations in Arkansas alone, creating immediate and long-term impact for businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies across the state.
