Working with the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas in 2017, a team of first-year Clinton School students researched and developed the Gender Equity Scorecard, an internal assessment equipping businesses in Arkansas with the ability to evaluate and improve the state of gender equity in their workplace.
The Clinton School students researched models and best practices related to gender equity from other states and countries, helping to create the Gender Equity Scorecard to be completed by senior level executives or human resources directors to gauge the current status of gender equity in their company’s workplace.
In 2019, WFA partnered with Arkansas Business Publishing Group to launch the Gender Equity Award to recognize the most equitable workplace in Arkansas and be presented annually at the Arkansas Business of the Year Awards.
Now called the Olivia Farrell Gender Equity Leadership Award, past winners have included Windstream Holdings; Wright Lindsey Jennings; Friday, Eldredge & Clark; and Chenal Family Therapy.
The Clinton School Impact Minute is a recurring segment with Little Rock Public Radio, highlighting the Clinton School’s field service impact in Arkansas.
Since 2004, Clinton School students have completed more than 600 field service projects with nearly 300 organizations in Arkansas alone, creating immediate and long-term impact for businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies across the state.
