Clinton School Online Welcomes Class of 2024

The University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service has enrolled 29 students in Clinton School Online. Classes for the program’s fifth cohort, the Class of 2024, opened on Monday.

“I’m excited to welcome this enrolling class of students into Clinton School Online,” said Dean Victoria M. DeFrancesco Soto. “These students enter our program with a wide range of career experiences, skillsets, and public service interests, and I look forward to their engagement with our amazing Clinton School community.”

The enrolling class includes students from Arkansas, California, Georgia, New Jersey, Tennessee, and Texas, as well as Canada, Northern Ireland, and West Africa. Twenty-eight different undergraduate universities are represented among the students. The enrolling cohort includes multiple founders, CEOs, and executive directors, with individuals working in higher education, healthcare, and nonprofit management, among other sectors.

Clinton School Online utilizes asynchronous classes to provide professionals with a practical skill set and knowledge base to enhance their opportunities for leadership in public service. The program allows students to take just one course at a time, each lasting eight weeks, over a period of 24 months to earn their master’s degrees.

The online program is designed for working professionals, giving them the enhanced knowledge and skills needed to advance their careers without relocating or disrupting their personal lives. Clinton School Online builds on the success of the school’s traditional Master of Public Service (MPS) degree, which graduated its first class in 2006 and enrolled its 17th class in August 2021.
