A team of University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service students has advanced to the National Finals of the 2016 Policy Solutions Challenges USA. The Clinton School finished second in 2013.
The competition requires student teams to develop innovative solutions to important policy problems facing the country. The topic for this year’s challenge is “Increasing the National Rate of College Competition in the U.S.”
Students Thurman Green (Pine Bluff, Ark.); Claire Hodgson, (Russellville, Ark.); Molly Miller (Sand Springs, Okla.); Keith Preciados (Miami, Fla.) and Demas Soliman (Alexandria, Egypt) will represent the Clinton School in Washington, D.C. on March 25-26.
The three other university finalists are the American University School of Public Affairs, Washington D.C; the University of Colorado at Denver School of Public Affairs; and the University of Utah Master of Public Policy Program.
