Several of the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service students pursuing concurrent law degrees from the UA Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law are taking on clerkships, fellowships, and internships with law firms and organizations this semester.
Students at the Clinton School may pursue the Juris Doctors from the Bowen School of Law under a concurrent degree program which allows cross-credit for specified courses. The concurrent degree program offers a potential savings of 18 credit hours otherwise required for both degrees.

Dillon Pitts (Pearl, Miss.) – Gill Ragon Owen, PA
Pitts is currently clerking at Gill Ragon Owen, PA. He provides legal research and assists in a range of legal issues, including business transactions, taxation, legal entities, and complex and general litigation.
Connor Thompson (Little Rock, Ark.) – Carney Bates & Pulliam, PLLC
Thompson is clerking at Carney Bates & Pulliam, PLLC. He assists attorneys with research on high-impact class action litigation, including data privacy rights and consumer protection cases in jurisdictions all over the United States.
Aisosa Osaretin (Benin City, Nigeria) – Arkansas Department of Health
Osaretin is working with the Arkansas Department of Health. She conducts legal and policy research on the legal implications of actions taken by the ADH to ensure compliance with state and federal laws, analyzes and synthesizes data on public health related matters, state laws and policies, and reviews FOIA requested documents to prevent exposure of medical information.
Dorothy Spector (Miami, Fla.) – Association of Arkansas Counties
Spector is a policy clerk at the Association of Arkansas Counties. She conducts research regarding county issues and writes memos and draft bills for the spring legislative session.
Dylan Lofton (Saginaw, Texas) – Association of Arkansas Counties
Lofton is a policy clerk at the Association of Arkansas Counties. He conducts policy research, works directly with elected officials, and helps draft legislation.
