Dean Skip Rutherford will speak Thursday about the redevelopment of Little Rock’s River Market District at the Northwest Arkansas Regional Development Conference in Bentonville.
Rutherford will join Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau CEO Dan O’Byrne, local developer Jimmy Moses and Sharon Priest, executive director of the Downtown Little Rock Partnership to discuss the recent growth in the River Market District. The conference theme is “Linking Tourism and Development.”
Home to the Clinton School and the Clinton Library, along with an array of shops, restaurants, hotels and condominium developments, the River Market has seen upwards of $1 billion in development since President Clinton chose the site for the Clinton Center in 1997.
