Posted by BEN BEAUMONT – Clinton School Dean Skip Rutherford will give the Jim and Jill Gaston distinguished lecture at Arkansas State University-Mountain Home on Monday at 7:00 p.m. Dean Rutherford plans to discuss the youth vote and the rise of technology as the country heads into election day November 4.
At noon, Dean Rutherford will also read from the autobiography of the late Vada Sheid, the former Mountain Home state senator who was the first woman in her own right elected to the Arkansas House and the Arkansas Senate.
