Posted by BEN BEAUMONT – Three Clinton School students will staff a marketplace of products made in the Arkansas Delta region at this weekend’s Arkansas Blues and Heritage Festival in Helena-West Helena. With BBQ sauces, tea-mixes, hand-made pottery and other unique items, the marketplace will truly feature the culture and creativity of East Arkansas.
Arkansas DeltaMade is a branding initiative run by the Rural Heritage Development Initiative (RHDI) to promote small business and creativity in the Mississippi River Delta region of Arkansas. The students are working with Arkansas DeltaMade for their Practicum (group) public service project, which is part of the Clinton School’s “hands-on” curriculum.
