Posted by ERIC WILSON – As Helena residents worked vigorously to get their downtown ready for the flood of people planning to attend today’s Arkansas’ Blues and Heritage Festival, Dean Skip Rutherford and I dropped by the preview party for the Arkansas DeltaMade marketplace which will be open throughout the festival.
The Clinton School is continuing its partnership with Beth Wiedower and the Arkansas Delta Rural Heritage Development Initiative (RHDI). Under the leadership of Marie Lindquist, our director of field service education, three students have been working with Arkansas DeltaMade to provide marketing research, grassroots support and recruitment efforts to the program.
For those of you unable to make it to Helena, I’m happy to report that the Clinton School will be hosting a second marketplace in December. More details to come.
