Posted by BEN BEAUMONT – Clinton School students Regina Wilkerson and Lindsey Johnson participated in the Democracy 2.0: Exploring the Millenial Generation’s Return on Investment Summit in Chicago last week.
The Summit, sponsored by Mobilize.org and the Peter G. Peterson Foundation, convened more than 120 millenials (ages 19-34) from across the country to discuss the nation’s most pressing economic issues. They worked in small groups to propose solutions regarding entitlement reform, healthcare, taxes and personal financial responsibility.
More information about the conference and information about the relevant topics is available at mobilize.org and pgpf.org.
