Dr. Phil Speaks

Posted by BEN BEAUMONT – Dr. Phil McGraw of daytime TV’s “Dr. Phil” drew the second largest crowd in Clinton School Speaker Series history when he entertained more than 1,200 people at the Robinson Center exhibition hall.

Dr. Phil, who was accompanied by his wife Robin, implored the crowd to “find your passion,” and pursue it. He discussed one of his 10 laws of life: “You either get it, or you don’t,” telling the crowd to make smart decisions for a better life.

After a 60-minute talk, Dr. Phil signed copies of his bestselling book, “Real Life: Preparing for the 7 Most Challenging Days of Your Life.” Video of his speech will be posted later today at www.clintonschoolspeakers.com.

“Dr. Phil” has been making headlines and breaking records since its September 2002 launch, when it garnered the highest ratings of any new syndicated show since the launch of “The Oprah Winfrey Show” 17 years prior.
