In addition to the Republican theme, the Clinton School December speaker schedule also features an energy theme with two CEOs of major energy companies set to speak. In partnership with the Arkansas Public Service Commission, the Clinton School will host Entergy CEO Wayne Leonard on December 9 at noon and OG&E CEO Peter Delaney on December 14 at noon.
Leonard will give a talk titled, “Confronting Climate Change: A Sustainable Approach,” about his views on the policies and practices of tackling the climate crisis in America and across the world. Delaney’s talk is titled, “Challenges Behind the Switch: What One Electric Company is Doing to Keep the Lights on in Challenging Times,” about his company’s efforts involving renewable energy, energy efficiency and transmission.
