Faculty Spotlight: Busy Year for Clinton School Faculty

Clinton School faculty members have enjoyed a successful year in teaching, research and public service while also working together to complete a review of the curriculum in the Master of Public Service degree program. Today we’ll begin a summer series called “Faculty Spotlight,” which will highlight the work of the Clinton School faculty.

Dr. Susan Hoffpauir, associate dean for academic affairs, has led the faculty in an effort to review and revise the school’s academic mission and vision statements, the delineation of student goals and the curricular offerings in the MPS program.

Currently, Hoffpauir is leading the faculty in an effort to revise the curriculum to ensure student attainment of the learning goals. Modifications to the program as a result of the review will be implemented in the fall of 2013.

This fall, Hoffpauir will be co-presenting at the Leadership Development Institute sponsored by the Council on Social Work Education in Washington, D.C.

Meanwhile, the school’s faculty members have been busy conducting a number of projects outside the classroom during the 2011-12 academic year. We’ll be posting news about each member of the faculty in the coming days and weeks.
