Marie Lindquist, director of field service programs, oversees the team-based Practicum and individual Capstone projects. Through an RFP process developed by Lindquist, the program received 50 applications from community organizations interested in hosting one of the 13 Practicum projects to begin this fall.
In the coming year, Lindquist will focus on developing more national field opportunities, strengthening current partnerships and measuring the impact of past project work. Efforts are also underway to develop an Arkansas higher education consortium on field service.
Lindquist also recently graduated from Leadership Greater Little Rock.
