Posted by ERIC WILSON – Eric Schlosser paid an unexpected visit to the Clinton School today and sat down with a few students. Schlosser is best known for his groundbreaking book, Fast Food Nation. It was on the NYT bestseller list for over two years and changed the way Americans think about what they eat, eventually becoming a required reading in many college courses around the nation. He also authored Reefer Madness: Sex, Drugs, and Cheap Labor in the American Black Market, exploring the nation’s growing underground economy. More recently Schlosser served as the Executive Producer of There Will Be Blood which was nominated for eight Academy Awards. He’s currently working on a book about America’s prison system.
