Sierra Fowler has joined the Clinton School’s Center on Community Philanthropy as the 2012 Community Philanthropy Leadership Fellow.
In this capacity, Fowler will be charged with providing support for the success of the center’s mission to promote community philanthropy as a form of philanthropy that creates positive change and lasting development in vulnerable communities.
Additionally, she will be an integral part of the center’s exploration of community philanthropy as a pathway to racial healing and equity in Arkansas.
In 2009, Fowler earned dual B.A.s in French and integrated strategic communications with a concentration in international business. Since graduation, she has pursued her interests in service and resource management through many different lenses.
From fighting wildfires in the Pacific Northwest to teaching English in the Far East and from volunteering on a French-Canadian farm to interning at a Latin American sustainable-living learning center, Fowler has collaborated with people on projects across globe.
As a Community Philanthropy Leadership Fellow, Fowler hopes to help enabling individuals in the region to improve their lives and the lives of others while strengthening local communities.
