Posted by BEN BEAUMONT – The Center on Community Philanthropy will join the Arkansas Women’s Foundation today to host, “Giving Circles: Using Our Collective Power for Strategic Impact.”
This seminar will teach participants about the power of giving circles, which vary from the loosely formed group contributing small amounts each to the more formally organized, higher dollar contributor group that includes an educational component at each meeting.
Presenting at the seminar will be Darryl Lester, founder of the social entrepreneurship firm Hindsight Consulting, and Eric Waples, donor services operator for the Twenty-first Century Foundation.
