Posted by BEN BEAUMONT – Congratulations are in order for recent Clinton School grad Jose Guzzardi who has been hired as the new president of Heritage Care, Inc., a health-care nonprofit in Hyattsville, Md. Jose will be working to expand health-care opportunities for underrepresented minorities and recruit foreign nurses and physical therapists from Latin America and other regions to help fill workforce shortages in America.
Guzzardi spent the last semester completing his Capstone project with Kissinger McLarty Associates, an international consulting firm in Washington, D.C.
“This will be a challenging job and something completely different from the work I was doing at McLarty Associates,” Guzzardi said. “However, my education at the Clinton School of Public Service gave me the necessary skills to lead a non-profit organization, and this will be a unique opportunity for me to gain more managing experience.”
