Grad Hired by Armed Forces Foundation

Clinton School graduate Josh Stokes (’10) has been hired as director of operations for the Armed Forces Foundation, a nonprofit that serves members of the military community through financial support, career counseling, housing assistance and recreational therapy programs.

Stokes says the position responsibilities will be similar to that of a chief of staff. Based in Washington D.C., the foundation has provided hundreds of thousands of dollars in support to military families in need since its founding in 2001.

Stokes came to the Clinton School in 2008 from the University of Alabama, where he studied political science and history. For his final Clinton School Capstone project, he coordinated health screenings, attained media attention and secured funding for HEARTS, a program that provides cardiac screenings for at-risk youth in Houston, Texas.
