Grad Named Finalist for Presidential Fellows Program

Clinton School grad Emily Fischer (’10) has been named a finalist in the Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) program, a two-year fellowship program in the federal government for recent graduate school alums. Finalists are selected after completing an assessment test and being nominated by their school.

This year, the program selected 869 finalists from more than 8,700 applicants. Applicants have a year of finalist status in which to obtain a PMF position in the government.  Fellows are required to complete 80 hours of training each year and a development rotation of four to six months in length. Fischer is hoping to find a position in the Department of State, USAID, African Development Foundation, Department of Education, Department of Justice, FEMA or something else related to international affairs, youth services or development.
