Graduate Appointed by Kenyan President to Serve on Tribunal

Clinton School graduate Wambui Ngugi of Kenya was recently appointed by Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki to serve as assistant secretary of a tribunal that investigated the conduct of Justice Nancy Baraza, deputy chief justice and vice president of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kenya.

The tribunal found Baraza guilty of misconduct in altercation with a security guard in a village market and recommended that she be removed from the court. Here’s a news account of tribunal’s findings:
